To make the most use of the countdown you may want to
experient with different slide transitions.

We found the following slide effects to work really well:

PowerPoint 97/2000

- Uncover Down
- Cover Down
- Split Vertical Out
- Box Out

PowerPoint 2002/XP/2003

- All of the above plus...
- Wedge
- Newsflash
- Comb Horizontal
- Wheel Clockwise 1

  PowerPoint Versions
--====================--

Certain slides in this powerpoint countdown make use of
special transitions/wipes that are not available in
microsoft powerpoint version 97 or 2000. The transitions
are only availabe in powerpoint version 2002/XP/2003. Therefore
certain transitions will not work in powerpoint 97/2000.

This does not stop the countdown from working in older
versions of powerpoint. They just look nicer in the newer
versions.

On PowerPoint 2002/XP/2003, for the "wheel effect" set of
slides, the 1 second delay between each slide and the
the transition time taken to display each image, is combined.
The result is that the time taken to display those 10 slides
is 20 seconds.
